Restored Sheaffer Burgundy Sentinel Touchdown Filler 14k F Nib Fountain Pen. This pen has been completely taken apart, cleaned, polished, a new gasket, and a new latex talced sac has been installed. The pen is in good shape with no cracks, breaks, engraved names, or warpage to the body. Even though I did polish it, some deeper scratches that did not come out may still be present. It is a used pen after all. The stainless steel cap is almost perfect but has a small dimple or ding in it in one spot and light scratching from previous use. The pen has a 14k Sheaffer’s Triumph nib with no cracks or breaks. The nib is a firm medium or a medium fine. The pen writes smoothly. The barrel stamp is present and legible but I wouldnt say its 100% but is still pretty good. This is the early style touchdown that is slightly fatter and not the later slim model.
